Note. Make sure the heat control switch is in the off position before plugging the heater into
the electrical outlet. For best economy, use the high power setting initially and then switch
to the low power setting.
In addition to the three heat settings, you can select the fan function by pressing the sepa-
rate side switch located on the control panel.
The fan function is to distribute the heat in the room at a faster rate.
TH E RM OSTAT
• Turn the thermostat knob clockwise until it reaches the maximum temperature on the
graduated scale.
• When the desired room temperature is reached, slowly turn the knob counterclockwise un-
til the heater turns off (you will hear a click).
• The heater will now cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
This appliance has two safety devices:
1. Resettable Thermal Link: This will automatically turn off power to the appliance at a
preset overheat temperature. After cooling down, it will reset and turn on again. If this
occurs, investigate what is causing the appliance to overheat.
2. Thermal fuse: Permanently disconnect the device in case of overheating. (It is not
resettable).
CAUTION: The appliance generates heat during use. Appropriate precautions must be tak-
en to avoid the risk of burns, scalds, fire or other damage to persons.
• The appliance requires regular cleaning to ensure trouble-free operation.
• Unplug the appliance from the mains before cleaning it.
• Make sure the appliance has completely cooled down before cleaning.
• Use a damp (not wet) cloth to clean the outside of the appliance to remove dust and dirt.
• Never use solutions such as benzine, thinners, or polishing agents.
• Use a vacuum to remove dust and lint around the grills and fins.
• Make sure the appliance is dry before plugging it back into the mains.
• Do not try to disassemble the device.
In compliance with Directives: 2012/19/EU and 2015/863/EU on the restriction of the use of dangerous substances
in electric and electronic equipment as well as their waste disposal. The symbol with the crossed dustbin shown on
the package indicates that the product at the end of its service life shall be collected as separate waste. Therefore,
any products that have reached the end of their useful life must be given to waste disposal centres specialising in
separate collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment, or given back to the retailer at the time of purchas-
ing new similar equipment, on a one for one basis. The adequate separate collection for the subsequent start-up
of the equipment sent to be recycled, treated and disposed of in an environmentally compatible way contributes to
preventing possible negative effects on the environment and health and optimises the recycling and reuse of compo-
nents making up the apparatus. Abusive disposal of the product by the user involves application of the administrative
sanctions according to the laws.
