5. OPERATION:
During a call the In-Use LED (8) will brightness.
5.1 Receiving a Call
Whenever the phone rings, pick handset up or press the
Hands-Free key to answer a call.
5.2 Making a phone Call
Pickup the handset or press the Hands-Free key and listen for a dial
tone. Then dial your call in one of the three ways:
press the keys for the numbers you wish to call, or
press REDIAL key (6) to call previously dialed number, or
press Direct memory key (1) or MEM key (3) & followed by
any of the ten numeric keys (0,1,2,..9) designating the
memory location containing the number you wish to dial.
5.3 Ending a Call
When you finish your conversation, return the handset to the cradle,
or press the Hands-Free button if you are using the Hands-free
mode.
5.4 Storing a number in Memory
1) Pickup the handset or press the Hands-Free key to off-hook.
2) Press STORE key (2).
3) Entering the desired phone number.
4) Press STORE key again.
5) Enter direct memories button (1)* or Enter a numerical key
(0,1,2,.. 9) for 10 indirect memories.
6) Put back the handset onto the cradle unit or press the Hands-
Free key to on-hook. The number is memorized.
Note: As the picture buttons are customizable by user the
"SOS 112 button" is not saved with the number 112. To
memorize it please follow above steps.
5.5 Redial Function
When the handset is lifted from the cradle and the REDIAL (6) key
is pressed, the last number entered will automatically redial again.
5.6 Transfer Function
To transfer a call during the phone call, just press R button and then
the number you desire to transfer the call.
5.7 Mute Function
During your phone call, press MUTE key (4) if you want a private
conversation not to be heard by the other party on the line. To
continue your phone call, Press the MUTE key again.
5.8 Setting Ringer Volume
Set Ringer Switch(13) to Hi (High) or Mi (Mid) or Lo (Low) position
to adjust the volume of the ringer.
5.9 Set Speaker Volume
Simple slide the speaker volume control switch(14) to adjust the
speaker volume.
5.10 Receiver Volume adjustment.
Simple slide the Receiver Hi/Lo switch(17) to adjust the receiver
volume to High or Low.
