3.2.
Device use
1. Install the batteries before you start using the device. The switch turns the
device on. When you press the switch, a short test is carried out to check that the
device works properly. During this time, all icons will appear on the screen
simultaneously. The test should not take more than a few seconds.
2. Then, select the measurement unit with the UNIT button. Available units:
inH2O, Psi, Mbar, KPa, inHg, mmHg, ozin2, ftH2O, cmH2O, kgcm2, bar.
3. To take the measurements, install both tubes on the measuring probes. Insert
the end of one of the tubes into the tested object, leave the other end in the air to
have a reference to the atmospheric pressure. To change the reference point and
find out the difference between the pressure values in two different objects, insert
both ends of the tubes properly.
4. To reset, hold the HOLD button for three seconds until the display shows "----".
ADDITIONAL FEATURES:
1. Backlight: it is possible to backlight the screen during the measurement to
improve visibility - just press button 4.
2. Retrieval of the MAX./MIN./AVG value: pressing the REC button you can retrieve
the maximum, minimum and average values of the measurements taken, and their
time. To return to the measurement mode, press the REC button again.
3. Freezing the reading: when you have taken the measurement, you can keep the
reading longer on the display by pressing the HOLD button.
4. Automatic shutdown: the device will automatically shut off after 25 minutes of
inactivity. To change this parameter, hold both the HOLD buttons and the switch
at the same time until the display shows "n" - the user will switch to the manual
switch-off mode. The auto power off function will be reactivated the next time the
device is started.
