OPTIONAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR HARD WIRING
1)
This charger may be hardwired by a qualified electrician
2)
Open the front cover by removing the front cover ring screw and then the screws holding
the front cover on.
3)
Remove the power supply cable
4)
Power may be supplied from the back or bottom of the unit and must follow local and
national codes.
5)
If providing power from the bottom use the hold vacated by the power cable.
6)
If providing power from the back remove the grommet on the back hole and move to the
bottom hole before running power.
7)
Conductors must be sized correctly to supply the needed amperage, we recommend
minimum of 6 AWG, 90⁰C copper conductor for up to 48A of power.
8)
Strip 1/2" of insulation and insert conductors into the terminals following the diagram:

9) Tighten the terminals to 45 in-lb.
10) Replace the front cover and front cover ring.
