Using the appliance

Start-up/Preheating
IMPORTANT: The accessible surfaces may be hot
to the touch when the appliance is on.
Never touch the hotplates during use as you could
burn yourself.
Place the appliance on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.

Fully unwind the power cable. Plug one end into the appliance plug and the

other end into an easily accessible power outlet.
Set the on/off switch to the I (on) position to turn on the appliance. The

indicator light comes on.
Preheat the unit for about 10 minutes. Wait until the hotplate is warm before

placing food on it. If necessary, pour a little oil onto the hotplate.
When you have finished using the appliance, turn the on/off button and the

temperature control button to the 0 (off) position and unplug the appliance
from the mains power.
Wait for the appliance to cool completely before cleaning it.
