3.8 ROW MARKER DISK ADJUSTMENT
The row marker is a machine that traces a reference line parallel
to the tracks of the tractor on the ground.Once the tractor has
reached the end of the forward track and reversed, it then proceeds
by moving with the central part of the tractor on the reference line
(Fig. 50). The row marker will continue to trace a parallel reference
line during its progress down each row. The inversion of the row-
marker arms is moved by means of a control on the seeder.
To adjust the system, refer to chapter 3.9 ADJUSTING THE
HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS.
ATTENTION
Before starting up the equipment, check the area urrounding
the machine to ensure that there are no people, especially
children or pets, nearby, and ensure that you have excellent
visibility.
ROW MARKING ARM LENGTH
Support the row marking arm, release the securing bolt (1, Fig.
51) and put it in the lower hole (A, Fig. 51). Lower the row marking
arm and rest it on the ground, slacken the nuts (2, Fig 52) and
adjust the length of the arm according to the following table.
For a correct registration of the arm lengths, refer to the following
table:

ATTENTION
When moving on the road, block the row-marker,vertical
position, arms with the dowels and the snap split pins, and
turn the row-marker disks inwards within the external
dimensions of the machine.
3.9 ADJUSTING THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
The hydraulic systems provided come equipped with one-way
flow regulators (Fig. 53) which allow for the regulation of the
quantity of oil during opening or closing, depending on how the
regulators have been installed:
- Flow from B to C, free (Fig. 53);
- Flow from C to B, choked (regulated) (Fig. 53).
To regulate, loosen the lock nut (3) and turn the knob (4).
Once this adjustment has been made, re tighten the lock nut.
Make sure that the result of this adjustment does not cause
the rising or descent speed to damage the structure itself.
Never exceed the maximum admissible pressure for the
hydraulic system.
