Getting Started

1. Secure STRIPMEISTER™ machine to a ridged work bench.
- Mounting holes and screws provided.
2. Loosen Wire Guide and raise Cutting Knife enough to fit the uncut wire.
3. Insert wire into the smallest possible Wire Guide opening and lower Cutting
Knife until it touches the top of the wire.
4. Lower the Wire Guide to achieve a wire angle of 10-20° and tighten.
5. Use the Knife Height Adjustment Knob to lower the Cutting Knife by roughly
the thickness of the insulation. Fine tune adjustment will happen in step 8.
6. Attach drill by tightening the drill chuck onto the Drill Shaft
7. Insert a short length of wire and activate the drill gun. Adjust the Cutting
Knife height if necessary.
- Ideally, only cut the insulation and not the copper.
8. Remove the insulation.
- When stripping large wire, run the cable twice (180° apart). This makes
removing thick, stubborn insulation much easier.
