Safety First
o Understand and obey all signage on unit
o Do not use in an area where children may be present
o Securely mount machine to a ridged surface
o Start drill on low speed to reduce risk of injury
o Avoid risk of accidental starting
o Always remove drill from the machine before doing any maintenance
o Keep hands away from the feed wheel and knife at all times
• Especially when wearing gloves
o Keep hands clear of wire when being pulled in by machine
o Employers are required to review the equipment and train operators on
proper use of the machine
