Install the Mulch Plug
1. Remove the battery and safety key.
2. Remove the grass catcher.
3. Open the rear discharge door (5)
and hold it.
4. Hold the mulch plug (10) by its
handle and fit it in the discharge
chute.
5. Close the rear discharge door.
Install the Side Discharge Chute
When you use the side discharge chute,
• Do not install the grass catcher.
• Keep the mulch plug installed.
1. Remove the battery and safety key.
2. Open the side discharge door (16)
and hold it.
3. Line up the recesses of the side
discharge chute (9) below the pivot.
4. Close the side discharge door.
