PRESENTATION

Your device is an HDMI switch. It allows you to select then transmit digital signals
from devices fitted with the same ports to a flat screen television or a television
fitted with the same connection. This user's guide is for model KD 3552 (2 HDMI
input ports) and model KD 3554 (4 HDMI input ports).
INSTALLATION
Connect your device by following the instructions on the diagrams at the
beginning of the leaflet (on the cover).
Note: your device is equipped with HDCP which means that you cannot copy protected
recorded material. The device connected to or via the HDMI OUTPUT port can only
be a television, a monitor or a video projector; in this way, the HDMI signal can be
transmitted through the HDMI ports.
To activate the remote, remove the protective strip by pulling it off (model KD 3554 only).
USE
OPERATION
: Press the �/
indicating the connection is working.
Your device begins to search for an HDMI signal from one of the HDMI IN ports.
The search will continue until a signal is found. The light shows that the search is
taking place.
SELECT
Press the �/
not receiving a signal, the search continues until a signal is found.
If no signal is detected, the light flashes continuously.
Note: model KD 3554 has a remote control which allows you to select the 4 HDMI ports
available on this model.
STOP
: Hold down the �/
Troubleshooting
If you run into difficulty or if the image or sound quality is not satisfactory, try the
recommended solutions.
Problem
The light does not come on
• Make sure that the adaptor is correctly plugged into the wall and that you have
an AC current (check the instructions on the device).
• Make sure that the electricity supply cable is correctly inserted in the electricity
supply port of your device (5V / 1A).
