5.2.2

Removing the Blade Holder

WARNING
Danger of infection and risk of damage in case of impermissible reprocessing!
Non-sterile use can cause severe health risks for the patient!
Remove the blade holder following each application!
Never reprocess and/or reuse blade holders! Reprocessing of the blade holder can
damage the instrument!
5.2.3

Disposal of Blade Holders

Blade holders are single-use items. Used blade holders must be disposed of according to
the applicable regulations!
We recommend disposing of blade holders after use and after expiration of the product lifetime
in a germ-tight and puncture-resistant container, see section 6.3 "Disposal", page 78.
5.3

Manual Cleaning of the Jaw Part

Clean the blade guideway in the jaw part and the joint area using the special tool, and clean
the jaw part with a soft brush, swab and/or paintbrush until gross contamination has been
removed (do not scratch electrode surfaces!).

turning it counterclockwise.
Pull the blade holder (3)
backwards out of the tubular
shaft (1).
