10. Hygiene and maintenance
Follow your local and national laws, directives, standards and guidelines for cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation.
> Wear protective clothing, safety glasses, face mask and gloves.
> Wipe the entire device and the foot control with disinfectant.
> Ensure that no fluids enter the device.
Recommended sterilisation cycles
> Steam sterilisation (type B, S, N)
> Sterilisation time at least 3 minutes at 134°C (273°F), 4 minutes at 132°C (270°F), 30 minutes at 121°C (250°F)
> Maximum sterilisation temperature 135°C (275°F)
