Conversion of the cooker hood into a recirculation hood
If you want to use the cooker hood as a recirculation hood, you must fi t the
activated charcoal fi lter(s) to the fan motor before using the hood. If not included
in the scope of delivery, you must obtain the activated charcoal fi lter(s) from the
supplier of your cooker hood.
Power connection
•
Do not connect the unit to the mains until it has been properly installed.
•
Never install the device if the information on the rating plate (V) does not
match your mains voltage.
•
The type plate is located inside the appliance, behind the grease fi lter.
•
If the cooker hood is equipped with a standard plug, connect it to an easily
accessible mains socket.
•
If the device is not equipped with a connection plug, a two-pole, standard-
compliant switch with a contact gap of 3 mm must be easily accessible and
installed by an authorised specialist.
•
When the cooker hood is connected to the mains, all the indicator lights light
up briefl y and the cooker hood switches to standby mode (accompanied by a
beep).
Installation (external ventilation)
WARNING
Risk of electrical shock! Electrical hazards may result if the screws
or fasteners are not installed in accordance with this manual.
Note: Observe the safety instructions for operating the unit when the air is
discharged to the outside. If the cooker hood is in operation at the same time
as an appliance that draws its energy from a source other than electricity, the
negative pressure in the room must not exceed 4 Pa (4 x 10-5 bar).
