Trolling motor installation and operation

Fin installation (one-time)
1. Take the fin from the box and remove the screws and bolts.
2. Slide the fin on the lower unit so that the screw holes are aligned.
3. Put the screws through the aligned holes and secure them with the nuts.
Installation of the tiller handle and upper unit (one-time)
1. Turn the tiller handle 90° upwards so that it clicks into the upper unit (You hear a CLICK!).
Note: This is a one-time action, do NOT fold the tiller handle after installation, otherwise the self-locking mechanism could get
damaged.
For repairs the tiller handle could be folded down, to do so, unscrew the connector bolt on the neck of the unit, then the handle
can be taken away carefully.
