The vibration emission level stated in this instruc-
tion manual has been measured in accordance
with a standardised test given in EN 60745; it may
be used to compare one tool with another and as
a preliminary assessment of exposure to vibration
when using the tool for the applications mentioned

using the tool for different applications, or with
different or poorly maintainted accessories,
may significantly increase the exposure level

the times when the tool is switched off or when
it is running but not actually doing the job, may

3. ASSEMBLY
Before assembly, always switch off the
machine and remove the mains plug from
the mains.
The sanding pad and the sanding paper must be
used for sanding applications.
Removing and mounting Dust connection (fig. C)
• Open the clamp of the dust connector (see fig
C1).
• Line up the notches (8) of the Dust connector
with the Nubs (9) on the machine (see fig C2).
• Then slide the dust connector on to the ma-
chine and turn it slightly, to secure close the
dust connector clamp (10) (see fig C3).
Removing and mounting accessories (fig. B)
• Release the quick change lever (5) and slide the
accessory forward to remove from the holder.
• Slide the accessory in the holder and fasten the
quick change lever (5).
Mounting the side handle (fig. D)
• The side handle (11) can be screwed into one of
the two side handle connection points (12).
4. OPERATION
Switching on and off (fig. A)
• To switch on the machine, slide the on/off
switch (1) to the front.
• To switch off the machine, slide the on/off
switch (1) to the rear.
Setting the speed (fig. E)
The speed adjustment wheel is used for setting the
speed. The speed adjustment wheel can be set to
6 positions. The ideal speed depends on the appli-
cation and on the material to be worked.
Do not set the speed during use.
• Turn the speed adjustment wheel (2) to the
required position.
