LP Gas Conversion (optional):
WARNING
BURN, FIRE HAZARD
• Failure to properly convert the range to the fuel type used at the
installation site can result in increased risk of fire, burn injuries, and
property damage. The conversion must be performed by a qualified
service technician in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions
and all local codes and requirements. The agency performing this
work assumes responsibility for the conversion.
All Midea ranges are designed to work with either natural gas or
LP/propane. Units are shipped from the factory set up to use natural gas.
Units must be converted in order to operate on LP/propane. Conversion
kits will be provided free-of-charge by contacting Midea customer
service at 1-866-646-4332 or by visiting midea.com/us/support.
The conversion to LP requires all cooktop and oven burner orifices to be
changed. Burner orifices cannot be adjusted - do not attempt to adjust
orifices to complete conversion. In addition, the gas pressure regulator
must also be set for LP. Follow detailed instructions included with the
conversion kit. Save the orifices removed from the appliance for future
use. All replaced orifices must be left with the consumer, along with the
conversion instructions.
