2.1 Light guide connection

2.2 Power connection

First, open the locking screw of the light guide holder by turning it counter-
clockwise. Then push the light guide in as far as it will go and tighten the locking
screw again by turning it clockwise.
When inserting light guides with a guide pin, make sure that it aligns in one of
the two guide slots.
As a safety precaution the light guide holder is equipped with a sensor
system (automatic switch-off), which allows the lamp to be operated only if
a compatible light guide is installed.
If there is no light guide in the light guide socket when the light source is
switched on, the error message "No Light Guide" appears in the LCD display.
Plug the three-pole cable type H05VV-F3G0.75 (available as an accessory)
into the connection socket provided. Only operate the KL 1500 HAL cold light
source within the specified voltage range. When replacing the power cord,
only use power cords of the same type.
