BATTERY INSTALLATION

1 Fit the two AAA batteries provided in the battery compartment respecting
the polarity.
2 Close the cover of the battery compartment horizontally along the arrow.

Notes:
- The batteries must be tted respecting the correct polarity, otherwise the
device may be damaged.
- Fit and remove the batteries in the right order to prevent damaging the
device.
- Remove the batteries if the pulse oximeter is not used for a long period of time.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE CONDITIONS
1 Replace the batteries when the warning light comes on.
2 Clean the surface of the pulse oximeter before using it for diagnosis.
3 Remove the batteries from the battery compartment if the device is not used
for a long period of time.
4 It is advisable to store the device at a temperature between -25°C and 70°C
with relative humidity ≤93%.

The device must always be stored in a dry environment. A humid
environment may damage the device reducing its life.
6 Follow the Italian regulations for product and spent battery disposal.
CLEANING THE FINGERTIP PULSE OXIMETER
Please use medical alcohol to clean the silicone touching the nger inside of
oximeter with a soft cloth dampened with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Also clean the
being tested nger using alcohol before and after each test.
Do not pour or spray liquids onto the oximeter, and do not allow any liquid to
enter any openings in the device. Allow the oximeter to dry thoroughly before
reuse.
