2. Approved use and usage restrictions

The following instructions must be observed when installing, starting up and servicing the E-RAIN reel
irrigator. Additional information regarding specific hazards can be found in the remaining part of the
operating instructions.
• The permissible operating pressure must never be exceeded.
• The hose and reel irrigator are only suitable for water. In the case of dirty water or rain water, it is
recommended that a prefilter is attached before connecting the water supply.
• Check the individual components regularly for wear and tear and leakage. Defective parts must be
replaced immediately and only with original spare parts.
• The reel irrigator must only be used for the specified purpose.
• Any changes made to the reel irrigator invalidate any claims under the guarantee. Operational
safety will be compromised as a result.
• Do not disturb the machine area during active operation.
• The machine must be secured so that unauthorised persons are unable to reach the machine. Any
persons who service the machine must be trained in all of its functions.
• The working area must be well illuminated in bad visibility or when used at night.
• At the end of the season, the device must be stored in a weather and frost-resistant manner.
• When transported by tractor, the max. speed is 15km/h (not permitted on public roads).
• When unrolling the hose, be sure to disengage the engine, otherwise the gearbox may be
damaged.
Attention:
Always disconnect the media supply before carrying out maintenance or repairs.
