CHECKING FOR BLOCKAGES
HOSE AND TUBES
Remove floor nozzle, dust cup and hose and shine a
flashlight in all the intake openings to check for possible
blockage.
BOTTOM OF FLOOR NOZZLE
1. Using a coin, turn the
locking screws to the
unlock position and pull
up to expose the airway.
Remove any obstructions,
close and relock.

2. Remove any string,
carpet fibers or hair
that may be wrapped
around the brush roll.

HOSE CUFF AT BASE OF POD
1. Squeeze tabs and
remove hose.

2. Tilt elbow down 90º.

3. Press elbow release latch.

4. Remove elbow and
check for blockages.

5. Replace elbow by
inserting gasket end
back into opening and
clip back into latch.
