The detector cannot identify
the target. Sometimes,
oxidized metal also causes a
different target and tone to
be indicated.

Keep the two detectors at
least 6 meters apart.
Increase sensitivity.
Set the probe parallel to
the ground.
Reduce sensitivity to
eliminate detection of
deeper targets.
