Adjusting the fan angle (Fig. F)
Warning! Keep fingers away from the front and rear
grill of the fan.
This fan has a pivot dial (5) for maintaining multiple
u
angles.
To adjust the fan angle, loosen the pivot dial and gently
u
push or pull the fan handle (3).
Storage hook (Fig. G)
Warning! To reduce the risk of serious personal injury,
turn unit off and remove the battery pack before making
any adjustments or removing/installing attachments or
accessories. An accidental start-up can cause injury.
Warning! To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, do not
use a damaged Track Wall integral hang hook or Trackwall. A
damaged Track Wall integral hang hook or Trackwall will not
support the weight of the tool.
Warning! To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, DO
NOT suspend tool overhead or suspend objects from the
integral hang hook. ONLY suspend tool on the Trackwall using
the integral hang hook.
Warning! The Track Wall integral hang hook is intended to
mount the tool onto a Trackwall rail. Do not use the integral
hang hook to mount the tool to any other surface.
Warning! The Track Wall integral hang hook is not
a belt hook.
Warning! When hanging objects on a Trackwall rail,
adequately space the tools in order to not exceed 75 lb (35
kg) per linear foot.
Warning! Before using the tool make sure that the Track Wall
integral hang hook is returned to its original position.
Flip or pull open the integral hang hook (4). It clicks when

locked into position.
Mount the integral hang hook to the Trackwall.

Suspending/mounting the fan (Fig. G)
Keyhole Slots
If using the keyhole slots (8), use at least 2 screws, one on
each side, secured into a sturdy surface.
Place the wide portion of the keyhole slot over the head of

the screw.
Slide the fan down until the screw is inside the narrow
u
portion of the keyhole and check to be sure the fan
is secure.

Carrying the Fan
Carry the fan using the fan handle ( 3 ).

Maintenance
Your Stanley FatMax tool has been designed to operate
over a long period of time with a minimum of maintenance.
Continuous satisfactory operation depends upon proper tool
care and regular cleaning.
Your charger does not require any maintenance apart from
regular cleaning.
Warning! Before performing any maintenance on the tool,
remove the battery from the tool. Unplug the charger before
cleaning it.
Regularly clean the ventilation slots in your tool and

charger using a soft brush or dry cloth.
Regularly clean the motor housing using a damp cloth.
u
Do not use any abrasive or solvent-based cleaner.
u
Regularly open the chuck and tap it to remove any dust
u
from the interior.
