Configuring the CANNS500

In order to function properly, the CANNS500 must be configured
before use. Configuration can be conducted via a Wi-Fi connection.
There are several parameters that must either be selected from the
available options or programmed by the installer.
Selecting the correct parameters is critical for making the
correct calculations and displaying alerts .

Configuration via Wi-Fi

CANNS500 has an integrated Wi-Fi hot spot to which you can connect
using a smart phone or any other device that allows web browsing.
Per factory default the Wi-Fi is on and broadcasting, if the CANNS500
is (connected to) powered by a battery bank. Check the status LED.
To switch on or off the Wi-Fi connection long press the button and
check the LED. It can also be automatically connected by scanning
the QR code located on the transparent cover.
You may get a message from the system, that there is no available
internet connection. As a solution simply run your web browser and
type in config.vetus.com.
Scan the QR code to connect to the CANNS500 and open
config.vetus.com in your web browser .
