BT/USB/MP3 OPERATING MODULE
When the SM-2703UB mixer is connected to the power supply, a menu appears on the screen with 5 options:
1.- Music (MSC): accesses the USB/MP3 player. When a USB storage device is connected, it
automatically accesses this option.
2.- Bluetooth (BT): allows music to be played from smartphones, tablets and other bluetooth devices.
With the bluetooth option activated in your bluetooth device, select the device from the list of
bluetooth devices. At that moment, your bluetooth device will be paired with the device.
3.- Recording (REC): allows a recording to be made of the MAIN output.
4.- (PC): activates the audio interface. Allows playback of audio files from a computer.
Connect the computer via the USB port on the mixer and use it to play MP3 audio files contained in
it. Playback is controlled from the computer.
5.- System (SYS): allows the following mixer parameters to be consulted/modified:
- Date and time
- Backlighting
- Language
- Contrast
- Firmware version
Access each menu with the 12 button, navigate through the options with the {/} buttons and select
the required option with the 12 button.
CONTROLS DURING PLAYBACK
1.- 12: starts/pauses playback.
2.- {: a short press of this button allows moving to the previous track. A long press
allows the volume of MP3 playback to be lowered.
3.- }: a short press of this button allows moving to the next track. A long press
allows the volume of MP3 playback to be increased.
4.- MENU: allows you to choose among the following options:
- Repeat: allows selection of playback mode among the following: all (repeat
all tracks), one (repeat one track) and random (random playback).
- Equalizer: allows selection among the equalizations available: natural, pop,
rock, jazz, classic, country.
- File explorer: displays files (tracks and folders) in a list.
Access each menu with the 12 button, navigate through the options with the
{/} buttons and select the required option with the 12 button.
CONNECTION
- Before making any connections, make sure that all the devices are switched off and disconnected from
the mains.
- Check that all the sliding controls, the gain control of each channel and the MAIN sliding control are at their
minimum.
- Connect the required devices to the channel inputs, use the XLR connector if it is a microphone (MIC) or
the 6.3 mm jack connectors if it is a line level input (LINE).
- Connect the MAIN L/R unbalanced ouput to a line level input on a power amplifier. If you wish, the REC
output can be connected to a recorder.
- If you wish, connect a USB storage device with MP3 files in the corresponding port.
- Connect the devices to the power supply.
- Switch the devices on in this order: firstly the periphery devices such as CD players, followed by the
SM-2703UB mixer and finally, the power amplifier.
