Installing the Waveguides
Note: The array does not need to be disassembled to replace the waveguide.
1.
Remove the 10 screws that secure the grille to the loudspeaker module.
2. Remove the grille.
3. Remove the eight screws that secure the factory-installed waveguides into the loudspeaker module.
4. Remove the factory-installed waveguides.
5. Place the new waveguides into the loudspeaker module. Confirm that the waveguides are fully seated into
the module, with no gaps, and are not obstructing the diffraction slot.
6. Secure the new waveguides into the loudspeaker module by using the fasteners included with your
waveguide.
7.
Re-attach the grille and reinstall the 10 screws removed in Step 1.
8. Replace the coverage badge on the back of the loudspeaker module with the badge included with your
waveguide. This prevents having to remove the loudspeaker grille to determine which waveguide is
installed after assembly.
