6. MAINTENANCE

For maintenance, use only specified spare parts. The manufacturer
cannot be held responsible for any accident following a repair performed inde-
pendently of its customer support department or authorised servicing centres.
6.1. MAINTENANCE
Battery replacement
- Set the switch to OFF,
- Remove the cover from the rear of the unit,
- Replace the dead batery by a 9V (type 6LR61 or 6LF22).

6.2. CLEANING THE CASING

Clean the casing using a cloth slightly soaked with soapy water.
Rince using a humid cloth.
Do not use solvents.

6.3. METROLOGICAL CHECK

Like all measuring or testing devices, the instrument must be checked regularly.
This instrument should be checked at least once a year. For checking and calibration,
contact one of our accredited metrology laboratories (information and contact details
available on request), at our Chauvin Arnoux subsidiary or the branch in your country.

6.2. REPAIR

For all repairs before or after expiry of warranty, please return the device to your
distributor.
