ROAD SAFETY INFORMATION:
1.
Whatever country you use your bicycle rack in, respect the highway code. Never drive with the bicycle rack attached without bicycles
on.
2.
The number plate and signal lights must be visible. Make sure that your bicycle rack does not hide them, if necessary add an extra
number plate and lights.
3.
Never drive off-road with bicycles mounted on the bicycle rack.
4.
During transport, it is advisable to regularly check that the bicycle rack and the bicycles are safely attached.
5.
Adapt your speed according to the transported load and never go faster than the maximum speed limit of 130 km/h.
AVOID :
Poor roads, sharp acceleration and braking, bad linkages.
WE ADVISE YOU:
- To slow down significantly before speed bumps or any other obstacle.
- To drive smoothly, to look ahead and to limit your speed in corners.
CHECKS BEFORE AND DURING TRAVEL:
1.
The driver of the vehicle has sole responsibility for the good condition and the correct fixing of the bicycle rack.
2.
For complete safety, the bicycle rack must be assembled and installed closely following the installation instructions.
3.
Before departure, check that the light unit is working.
4.
No object that could fall off should be left on the bicycles during transport.
5.
Take any detachable items off the bicycles (accessories, bottles, etc.).
6.
Check the state of the straps and other fastening devices, re-tighten them if needed.
7.
Be sure to secure the bicycles and the bicycle rack with straps that are in good condition.
8.
The bicycle rack increases the length of the vehicle and bicycles can change its width and height. Be careful when reversing.
9.
Replace damaged or worn-out items immediately.
10.
The bicycle rack must always be in its locked in position during travel.
11.
The vehicle may behave differently in corners or when braking when the load is in place. Speed limits and other relevant rules must
of course be respected.
12.
In addition, you should adapt the speed of the vehicle to the conditions, and take into account the safety considerations related to
bicycle transport.
13.
Transport of tandem bicycles is not permitted.
14.
The manufacturer does not accept any responsibility for bodily and/or material damage resulting from erroneous mounting or
usage.
15.
The equipment must not be modified in any way.
16.
If the vehicle is equipped with an automatic opening system for the boot, it is advisable to disable it or to only open the boot
manually when the bicycle rack is installed.
17.
For vehicle models whose approval dates from before 01/10/1998, the bicycle rack or the transported load must not hide the third
brake light.
18.
Exhaust fumes being hot, never put tires or the bicycle rack's straps in front of the exhaust pipe.
19.
The bicycle rack is designed so that it can be tipped, it is however possible that the boot door cannot be opened despite this tipping.
MAINTENANCE OF THE BICYCLE RACK:
- Do not use chemical or aggressive products to clean the bicycle rack.
- Immediately replace any defective item and do not use the bicycle rack before complete reparation.
- Remove the bicycle rack from the vehicle in car washes.
- Store your bicycle rack carefully together with the mounting instructions after each use.
- Clean the bike carrier after each use, paying particular attention to the sliding parts.

portabici. Queste devono essere conservate per utilizzi futuri, e per un uso in tutta sicurezza del portabici.
Il mancato rispetto degli avvisi, delle istruzioni di montaggio e della manutenzione comporterà il rifiuto della garanzia.
- Le istruzioni di montaggio devono essere scrupolosamente rispettate prima dell'uso del prodotto e devono essere conservate con cura.
- Il portabici che avete acquistato è destinato al trasporto di al massimo 2 bici.
Attenzione: Se non rispettate queste preconizzazioni, rischiate di danneggiare il gancio traino del vostro veicolo. Norauto Spa non si
assume responsabilità in caso di mancato rispetto delle preconizzazioni obbligatorie.
Attenzione: il carico massimo ammesso sul portabici è di 30kg ossia 15kg al max per bici.
- Prima del montaggio del portabici, assicuratevi della compatibilità del montaggio con il vostro veicolo. In caso di dubbi, rivolgetevi ad un
venditore/tecnico.
- Poichè ogni portabici ha una geometria particolare, spetta a voi verificare la compatibilità delle vostre bici con il portabici. Per le bici
senza barre superiori, una barra addizionale, disponibile dal vostro rivenditore può essere aggiunta sulle bici per poterle mettere sul
portabici.
- Per le bici dei bambini, la compatibilità non è garantita.
Attenzione: il mancato rispetto delle istruzioni di montaggio può provocare dei danni gravi al vostro veicolo, mettere a rischio la vostra
sicurezza e quella altrui. In questo caso il costruttore non si assume nessuna responsabilità.
