The Protos Pl ear protectors have been tested and are certified under the Euro-
pean EN 352-3:2002 norm. Please read the instruction manual carefully and keep
all operating and maintenance manuals. To guarantee the best-possible protection,
comfort and functionality of Protos® Integral protective helmets, it is vital to take
notice of the following information!

USER INFORMATION:

1. Application:
Protos® Integral ear protectors may only be attached to and worn with the fol-
lowing protective helmets:
• Protos® Integral Industry (Art.Nr. 202000 /402000)
• Protos® Integral Forest (Art.Nr. 204000 /204002 / 404000 /404002)
• Protos® Integral Arborist (Art.Nr. 205000 / 205002 / 405000 /405002)
• Protos® Integral Climber (Art.Nr. 203000 /403000)
2. Materials:
The ear pieces are made of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) and are recyclab-
le. The ear cushions are made of foam, the clamp of PAGF and the absorptive lining
of PU-foam.
3. Installation:
It is very easy to install the Protos® Integral ear protectors. To do so, proceed
as follows:

Take the hearing protector incl. retaining
clip and slide it into the holder provided
until it clicks into place.
Please note!
The arrows on the ear pieces should point
to the front of the helmet!
4. Adjustment Options:
a) Ear height
active position
To move the hearing protector
from the active position to the park
position, pull it outwards and then
push it backwards.
c) Removing the ear protectors incl. support bracket
To adjust for optimal height, push the ear
pieces up or down until they fit comfortab-
ly over your ears.
b) Park Position
park position
The pressure, with which the ear pie-
ces fit over your ears, can be adjusted.
To do so, remove the ear protectors.
Press on the red "Press"- tab to pull
the ear protectors from the shell of the
helmet.
