TROUBLESHOOTING

Note: If the following troubleshooting steps do not resolve the problem,
please contact customer service for technical assistance.
Problem
The burner does not
ignite when the igniter
is pressed.
Thermo-
couple
Firing pin
(Electrode)
Potential cause
Electrode and burner
are wet.
The battery of the
igniter is empty or
inserted the wrong way
round.
The firing pin is broken.
The firing pin is dirty.
Solution
Dry both with a cloth.
Replace the battery or
insert it correctly. Make
sure that the protective
plastic cover has been
removed.
Contact customer
service for spare parts.
Check for residue
on the firing pin or
thermocouple. If
dirty, clean the area
thoroughly.
