Leak test
Before performing a leak test, make sure that there are no sparks and that you
are in a spacious outdoor area.
Connect the propane gas bottle to the gas pressure regulator and turn the
valve on the device to the "OFF" position. Spray or brush all connections with
a soap solution. Turn on the gas supply. If bubbles appear at any connection,
there may be a leak. If you smell gas or detect a leak, turn off the gas valve,
disconnect the gas bottle from the appliance and do not use the appliance until
the leak is fixed.
Do not use the gas fireplace without checking the gas hose. If there are signs of
wear or tear, you must replace the hose.
