CLEANING, MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Note: Always disconnect the gas bottle from the appliance before carrying
out any maintenance work.
•
Store the unit indoors during the winter months. Avoiding extremely cold
temperatures prevents frost damage.
•
Make sure that there are no flammable materials inside the unit. Check
the burner for visible blockages and keep the gas bottle compartment free
of dirt.
•
Remove light soiling, loose dirt and soil with a soft brush as soon as the
appliance and the lava stones have cooled down completely. Rub them
with a soft cloth.
•
Extreme weather conditions can cause stubborn stains, discolouration and
rusting. Permanent damage may occur if cleaning powders or solutions
come into contact with the painted components or the plastic components
of the appliance.
•
Make sure that the device is not exposed to direct sunlight when it is
stored. Remove the gas bottle from the gas bottle compartment if the
appliance is stored indoors.
•
Spare parts not recommended by the manufacturer can damage the
device and void the warranty.
•
Cover the unit, if desired, to protect the external surfaces and prevent
residue from forming in the air ducts.
Note: Wait for the device to cool down completely before covering it.
