Do not modify machine controls or engine speed
regulations.
Remove all keys or hand tools from the
machine and from the work area before
starting this machine. A wrench or tool left
near the machine may be touched by a moving part of
the machine and projected causing personal injury.
Don't overdo it. Keep your feet flat on the ground
and keep your balance at all times. Do not use
this machine on slopes greater than 15º. Be alert
when working or moving the machine on slopes. Be
especially careful when changing direction on a slope.
Hold the machine with both hands on the handlebar
and always position your body behind the handlebar.
Keep all parts of your body away from cutting
elements and moving parts when the machine is
running. Before starting the machine, make sure that
the cutting element is not in contact with any object.
A moment of inattention during the operation of the
machine may cause your clothing or other body part
to be cut by the cutting element of the tool.
If you are an inexperienced user we recommend that
you have minimal practice on a flat surface.
If the machine vibrates abnormally, stop the engine,
inspect the machine for the possible cause and repair
it. If you cannot find the reason, take your machine to
your technical service.
Do not touch the exhaust of the machine
while the engine is running or just after it
has been stopped.
The exhaust of this machine reaches high
temperatures during engine operation and remains for
a few minutes after the engine stops.
Do not leave this machine running unattended. If
you must leave the machine unattended, turn off the
engine, wait for the cutting tool to stop, and unplug
the spark plug wire.
Store idle tools out of reach of children.
2.2.1. SAFETY CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry.
Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving
parts. Loose clothing, jewelry, or long hair can be
caught in moving parts.
Use this machine with proper footwear. Never use this
machine barefoot or with sandals.
When using this tool wear the following safety
equipment:
- Hearing and eye protection.
- Non-slip boots.
- Long pants.
The use of additional safety clothing and
equipment will reduce the risk of personal
injury.
The noise caused by this machine can damage
your ears. Use hearing protectors.
If you regularly work with this machine, visit your
doctor regularly to check your hearing ability.
Attention!: When working with hearing protection
you must be more careful with the visual signals since
the auditory ones will be weaker.
You must bring with you:
• Tools.
• Signaling tape for the work area.
• Mobile phone (To use in case of emergency).
