6.12.6 More

> If you press the right arrow button again whilst the „Next" SFI
screen is being displayed, you will see the „More" SFI screen
appear.
On this screen, an additional time window appears in the
header.
The time of the currently displayed SFI screen is shown in this
window.
> You can browse forwards in 15-minute steps by pressing the
right arrow button several times or by holding down the right
arrow button.
> You can browse backwards to the previous screens by pressing
the left arrow button.
The days of the week are displayed at the bottom edge of the
screen. These fi elds are highlighted as soon as information is
available for the corresponding day.
> To see a preview of a particular day, use the numerical keypad
to enter the number that corresponds to that day of the week.
or
> You can return to the „Next" screen by pressing the Back
button.

6.12.7 SFI functions

To use the following SFI functions, you must fi rst open the SFI as
described in Section 6.12.3.

6.12.7.1 SFI info

SFI Info allows you to display a short piece of information about the
marked channel or programme.
If SFI info is available, this is indicated by XX next to the relevant
programme name.
> Use the up/down arrow buttons to select the desired channel.
> Press the (EPG/SFI) button to display the information. You
can browse through longer information texts using the arrow
buttons.
> You can return to the previous screen by pressing the Back
button.

6.12.7.2 Timer / recording programmes

The timer function switches your television set on and off for the
selected programme so that you can record it whilst you are away.
Please note that in order to record a television programme you must
also program your video recorder. If the TV set is in standby mode
when the timer starts, the screen will not be switched on.

Programming the timer automatically
> Use the arrow buttons to select the desired programme.
> Press the green Timer function button once to import the
selected programme's data as a video recorder timer directly
into the timer function.
> If you press the green button twice, the data are saved as a
channel change timer.
> If you press the green function button once more, the data for
the marked programme are removed from the timer list again.
Programming the timer manually
> Press the red Timer list function button.
> The timer menu appears containing the data of all the
programmed timers so that you can check it. If necessary, you
can make changes to the list.
> If you press the green New function button, you can access the
timer programming function to program a new event.
To program, proceed as follows:
Source
> Use the arrow buttons to mark the Source fi eld and confi rm
with OK.
> Use the up/down arrow buttons to specify the desired source
(TV or Radio) and confi rm with OK.
Channel
> Use the arrow buttons to mark the Channel fi eld.
> Press the OK button.
Depending on the previous setting, the TV channel list or the
radio station list will be displayed.
> Use the arrow buttons to mark the desired channel.
> You can add it to the timer by pressing the OK button.
> You can move the marker to the next item in the list using the
up/down arrow buttons.
> You can browse up or down in the list one page at a time using
the left/right arrow buttons.
Date
> Use the arrow buttons to mark the Date fi eld.
> Use the numerical keypad to enter the date on which you want
to record a programme.
Start
> Use the right arrow button to mark the Start fi eld.
> Use the numerical keypad to enter the start time for the timer.
Stop
> Repeat the steps as described in „Start" to enter the stop time.
The system can also handle situations in which the stop time of
one timer is the same as the start time of a subsequent timer!
