6.8 Freeze frame

> If you press the Stop button, the current TV picture is displayed
as a still picture (freeze-frame).

6.9 Switching between TV and radio

> You can switch to radio mode by pressing the TV/Radio
button.
The TV set switches to the radio station that you listened to
last.

6.10 Channel/transponder/source info

> If you press the green function button, the data relating to the
channel/transponder or the selected source are displayed.

Switching format / zoom

Television programmes are broadcast with different picture
formats (e.g. 16:9 or 4:3). To display the television picture at its
optimum size on your LCD TV set, you can preset a fi xed aspect
ratio or you can activate automatic format detection (Section
7.1).
Furthermore, in normal mode, you can manually adjust the picture
format to suit the programme that is currently being broadcast.
> To open the menu for manually setting the picture aspect
ratio, press the blue function button.
> If you press the OK button several times, you can select
predefi ned standard formats.
Furthermore, you can use the arrow buttons to stretch the
height or width of the picture manually.

6.12 Program journal (SFI/EPG)
Your television set is equipped with an electronic program guide.
You can use it to display programme information on-screen for
individual or several digital programmes. You can very quickly gain
an overview of the programmes that are currently being broadcast
or the programmes that are being broadcast throughout the day
or over the coming days.

6.12.1 Importing the SFI data

The programme information is loaded by your TV set at the update
time specifi ed in Section 7.4 (SFI settings). Your TV set must be in
standby mode in order for this to take place. This function will not
be carried out if your TV set is switched on or switched off at this
time. The time it takes to import the data depends on the number
of programmes to be imported. A maximum of seven days ahead
can be displayed. Due to the amount of data, this time period will
decrease as the number of channels in the electronic program
journal increases. You can decide yourself which digital channels
you want to appear in the „electronic program journal". You can then
record them as described in Section 7.4.

6.12.2 Cancelling the import process

> Switch on the TV set by pressing the On/Standby button.
> Cancel the import process by pressing the OK button twice.
6.12.3 Displaying the electronic program journal
> Press the (EPG/SFI) button on the television's remote control.

6.12.4 Now (screen with current programme content)

The „Now" SFI screen is displayed initially showing the programmes
currently being broadcast. The bar to the right of the channel name
indicates how much of the current programme's broadcasting time
has already elapsed. The currently set programme is marked.
