Troubleshooting Chart
Problem
Possible Causes
Operator forced the cable

Drain Cleaning Machine
Solution
Do not force the cable. Let the cutter
do the work
Allow no more than 2 feet between
machine and drain opening
Change to a cable that is suitable in
diameter for a line
Clean and oil cable regularly
Do not force the cable. Let the cutter
do the work
Use reverse only if cable gets caught in
pipe
Replace as required

by Authorized Service Center
Replace GFCI integrated Power Cord
by Authorized Service Center
Contact Authorized Service Center
Pull out the cable and feed in.
Properly set the tension knob of Cable
Feeder, not too loose that the cable
will slip, not too tight that the cable
will wear quickly.
Clean and lubricate Cable Feeder
rollers regularly. Replace worn rollers.
When cable coils wear flat, cable
should be replaced
Adjust the Torque Limiter to increase
the torque limit
