2. How to adjust the voltage and set the polarity

• Do not use this adapter if you are unsure of the polarity and DC input voltage of your rechargeable appliance
• Do not use this adapter with a rechargeable appliance requiring a continuous input current > 1500mA
• Do not cover the adapter during operation as ventilation is vital if the device is to function normally
• Unplug the adapter before starting the vehicle.
• It is advisable not to use the adapter for extensive periods when the engine is turned off. Doing so may exhaust
your car's battery, depending on the power consumption of your rechargeable appliance and the capacity of your
car's battery.
