Directions for use

Please read the following directions, warn-
ings and safety instructions all the way
through.
Leashing the dog: Lock the brake. Place
the included safety loop a around the
dog's neck, parallel to the collar. Pull the
hook of your flexi through all three metal
rings (loop – collar – loop).
Free run: Always hold the flexi by the hand
grip. As long as you do not activate the
brake button, the rope or belt will easily
extend and retract.
Stopping: Press the brake button with
your thumb b. Let go of the brake button
when the dog comes back to you, so that
the leash is always taut.
Retracting: Swing your arm forward while
holding the flexi c, press the brake button
with your thumb b, and pull your arm
back toward you. When you let go of the
brake button and swing your arm forward
again with the flexi, the leash will automati-
cally retract. Repeat this process until your
dog is at the desired distance from you.
Heeling: Bring the dog back to you, press
the brake button b, and then slide the
brake lock forward with your thumb d.
To release the brake lock, pull the lock
backward with your thumb e.

WARNINGS AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

flexi users must be authorized to walk
dogs, familiar with how to walk dogs and
able to safely control the dog and keep
it under observation at all times. Persons
who do not meet these requirements,
including children, should not use the flexi.

flexi components are damaged.
• Please note that even high-quality materi-
als are subject to normal wear and tear.
• Do not continue to use the flexi if you see
signs of damage or wear. In case of doubt,
please contact our Customer Service at

the rope, belt or other flexi components.
Dog bites in particular can damage the
components of your flexi and accelerate
the wear and tear process.
• Always use the included safety loop a in
addition to your own collar. This will keep
the leash from snapping back if the collar
breaks. A quickly retracting leash can
cause injuries f.
• Never hold on to the rope or belt. This can
result in injuries g.
• Do not let the rope or belt wrap around
body parts h. The rope or belt can cause
cuts or friction burns.
• Avoid letting the leash hang loosely. Only
a taut leash gives you control over the
dog. Use the brake lock only if you want
the dog to heel on a short leash.
• When other people or animals are nearby,
always keep the dog on a short leash.
• Observe your dog carefully so that you
can always respond to dangerous situa-
