Removing the CON Assembly

Some inverters may have an ESS assembly on the CON assembly. This ESS assembly is included in
the CON assembly at hand and therefore does not need to be removed from the disassembled
CON assembly.
Procedure:
1. Disconnect the inverter from all voltage sources (see Section 5, page 13).
2. Open the AC terminals and remove the insulated conductors for L1, L2, L3, and N from the
openings. Ensure that the grounding conductor connection to the enclosure of the inverter
remains intact. For this purpose, you can connect the grounding conductor to a lid fastening
structure, for example.
3. Disassemble optional add-on modules (e.g. 485 Data Module Type B).
4. If there is a protective cover in front of the multifunction relay, remove this protective cover.
5. Remove all connections on the CON assembly:
• Remove cables from the cable brackets.
• Release the connections in the terminals using a suitable screwdriver.
• Remove the plug.
Notice: The display module is only removed after removal of the assembly.
6. Remove and dispose of all CON assembly
connecting screws.
7. Remove the CON assembly by pulling it towards you.
8. Removing the display module:
