The appliance is safety insulated and radio screened. It meets
the requirements of EU Electromagnetic Compatibility Direc-
tive 2014/30/EU and Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.

Preparation
f Check that the contents are complete.
f Check all the parts for possible transport damage.

Caution! Damage due to incorrect power supply.
f Only operate the appliance with the voltage
stated on the nameplate.
Operation
1. Insert the mains plug into the socket. A double acoustic
signal will sound.
2. Switch on the hair straightener using the on/off switch
(Fig. 2). An acoustic signal will sound. The LCD display
shines blue and shows the current temperature. The high-
est temperature is preset at 230 °C.
3. Set the desired operating temperature with the tempera-
ture switch.

An acoustic signal will sound during adjustment.
The operating temperature can be set within a range
of 80 – 230 °C in 10 °C increments. Once the set
operating temperature has been reached, the hair
straightener display shows the temperature.
4. After using the hair straightener, switch it off by holding
down the on/off switch (Fig. 2). The LCD display goes out.
