6. CONEXIÓN DE LAS MANGUERAS

Seleccione un material para la manguera que no se verá afectado por el combustible utilizado.

El filtro de combustible NTF® debe instalarse siempre después de la bomba de suministro de
combustbile y después del separador de agua. Cuando ya no se dispone de un separador de
agua, se recomienda encarecidamente instalar uno. Dado que los elementos de filtro NTF
son higroscópicos, el contenido de agua en el combustible puede saturar el elemento
prematuramente.

Cuando el separador de agua se instala después de que la bomba de alimentación de combustible
conecte la manguera del agua Separador al puerto IN del filtro de combustible NTF®.

Cuando el separador de agua se instala antes de la bomba de suministro de combustible (en la
línea de succión), conecte La bomba de suministro de combustible al puerto IN del filtro de
combustible.

Compruebe si la bomba de alimentación de combustible suministra suficiente presión (0,4 bar como
mínimo).

Usando una manguera de diámetro interno 3/8 o 10 mm con la abrazadera adecuada, conectar las
mangueras a los acoples de entrada/salida.

Conecte las mangueras con los accesorios a la carcasa del filtro utilizando los pernos banjo M12 x 1,5
y las arandelas de cobre como se muestra en el diagrama de la página 2 de este manual.

Utilice abrazaderas para garantizar que todas las mangueras permanezcan lejos de superficies
afiladas, eléctricas, o extremadamente calientes.

Enciende el motor y comprueba si hay fugas.

Select hose material that will not be affected by the used fuel.

The NTF fuel filter should always be installed after the fuel supply pump and after the
water separator. When no water separator is already available it is strongly recommended to
install one. Since NTF filter elements are hygroscopic, the water content in the fuel may
saturate the element prematurely.

When the water separator is installed after the fuel supply pump connect the hose from the water
separator to the IN-port of the NTF

When the water separator is installed before the fuel supply pump (in the suction line) connect the
hose from the fuel supply pump to the IN-port of the fuel filter.

Check if the fuel supply pump supplies enough pressure (min. 0,4 bar).

Using a i.D. 3/8 or 10 mm hose with the proper hose clamp, connect the hoses to the barbed ring
eye fittings.

Connect the hoses with the fittings to the filter housing using the M12 x 1,5 banjo bolts and copper
washers as shown in diagram on page 2 of this manual.

Use tie-raps to secure all hoses away from sharp, electrical and or hot surfaces.

Start the engine and check for leaks.
