Set the direction selector switch (3) in middle position
Push buttons (4) and slide the battery (5) to the front (fig. A).
nsert charged battery (5) into the handle holder, you should hear when the lock buttons (4) snap.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
Drill is supplied with partially charged battery. Charge the battery full before use. Charging the battery
should be carried out in temperature between 4°C to 40°C. New battery, or one that have not been used for
a long time, will reach full efficiency after approximately 5 charge/discharge cycles.
Remove the battery (5) from the drill (fig. A).
Connect charging station to the charger.
Connect the charger to mains socket (230 VAC).
Put the battery (5) inside the charging station (fig. B).
Green diode on – indicates voltage on the connector.
Red diode on – battery charging in progress.
Red diode turns off – battery is fully charged (after 5 hours) or battery temperature is too high (above
45
0
C).
Each time the battery is removed and inserted into a charging station during a recharge, the
charging cycle resets and another 5 hours cycle is started regardless of the current battery capacity.
When the battery temperature rises too much during a recharge (above 45°C) and recharge is
stopped (red diode goes off), remove the battery from charging station, wait approximately for 30
minutes and put the battery back in the charging station. Such temperature rise inside the battery
is not likely and may never occur.
Charging process heats up the batteries. Do not work just after charging is finished - wait until
battery cooles down to ambient temperature, otherwise the battery will be damaged.
SPINDLE BRAKE
Drill driver is equipped with electronic brake, which stops the spindle immediately after the switch button
(6) is released. The brake ensures precision when screwing or drilling and prevents free spindle rotation
after it is switched off.
SWITCHING ON / SWITCHING OFF
Switching on – press the switch button (6).
Switching off – release the switch button (6).
Each time the switch button (6) is pressed, the LED diode (8) lights up to illuminate the workplace.
ROTATIONAL SPEED CONTROL
Screwing or drilling speed can be controlled during operation by increasing or decreasing pressure on the switch
button (6). Speed control enables soft start, which prevents drill slip when drilling in gypsum or glaze, and
helps to control the operation when screwing and unscrewing.
OVERLOAD CLUTCH
Setting the ring (2) in given position causes permanent setting of the clutch to specified torque. When
the set torque is reached, overload clutch releases automatically. t prevents screwing screws too deep or
damaging the drill.
