The calibration of thermostatic valve in case of faulty temperature regulatio should be done at 38°C based on the
following indications:
■ start manual shower funktion setting the knob at 38°C
■ measure the water temperature with the normal thermometer
■ mark with a line 38°C temperature inthe panel as marked in the
shower knob
■ push the red button and slowly turn the knob until 38°C
temperature of water stream is reached
■ take the cap off, unscrew the bolt and pull out the knob
■ install the knob in a way that the panel is in the same place as
38°C temperature mark in the knob
■ screw the bolt and put the cap

04.03 Steam Generator Cleaning

The cleaning process is performed automatically after the steam bath and indicated by the ` - ´ symbol fl ashing in display
[W1]. The steam generator is emptied, fi lled and emptied again. The cleaning process takes 5.2 minutes. The steam
function is blocked during the cleaning process.
04.04 Steam Generator Decalcifi cation

Don't open the fi lling door while enjoying a steam bath. For your

safety we recomment to wait at least 30 minutes after using a steam
bath till the cabine cools off.

to be decalcifi ed!
Symbol „00" appears in display [W1]
- the steam generator has been operating for 20 working hours and the steam
function is blocked. The system needs to be decalcified
For decalcifi cation, pour in 250ml of the liquid decalcifi er (i. e. HOESCH special softening agent Art.Nr. 692101)
and activate the process by keeping button 5 pressed for 10 seconds.
The decalcifi cation process can not be interrupted and is indicated by the symbol „00" fl ashing in display [W1].
Decalcifi cation process duration = 65 minutes

Proper use of steam function!

First you take a shower and then use the steam bath. Before any steam bath, you should take a shower, remove
traces of soap and carefully wipe the whole body.
After getting the required temperature: enter the steam cabin and close the door carefully.
Please, avoid direct skin contact with the area of the steam outlet.
15 minutes is enough! First time use the steam bath only as long as you feel comfortable. We recommend maximum
15 minutes at 40 to 50°C. The best is taking a steam bath in the sitting position.
Steam bath duration should be controlled. You should never use more than 2-3 cycles of steam bath sequentially.
Steam is fragrant. The invigorating fragrances increase the refreshing effect and pleasure of the Roman steam bath.
To increase the steam bath effect, HOESCH fragrances can be added directly to the steam jet tank.
Alternating shower. At the end of each steam bath: cold shower. It has a refreshing effect. If you take warm shower, you
will be relaxed and muscle tension will reduce.
Relax. The best way is to lay down and relax this way relaxation effect and profi table steam bath effect for your body will
be strengthened.
Steam bath relaxes. The biggest advantage of steam bath is user friendly temperature from 40-50 °C and perfect
combination of heat and humidity.
Using the steam bath for children requires constant adult supervision.
Particular caution is advised when elderly and disabled person uses the steam bath.
