POWER LIGHT:
This heater is equipped with a power indicator light. This light will illuminate as long as the heater is plugged into a
grounded outlet.
CAUTION LIGHT:
This heater includes a visual alarm to warn that parts of the heater are getting excessively hot. If the caution light comes
on, immediately turn the heater off and inspect for any objects on or near the heater that may cause high temperatures.
DO NOT OPERATE THE HEATER WITH THE CAUTION LIGHT ON.
OVERHEAT SAFETY FEATURE:
This heater is equipped with an automatic overheat protection device. If the heater grill is obstructed, or if the heater
gets too hot for any reason, the automatic overheat device will turn the heater off. To reset the heater, simply turn off
the power and unplug the heater remove any obstructions, leave unplugged for 10 minutes until it cools completely.
TIP-OVER SAFETY FEATURE
This heater is equipped with a safety tip-over device. Once the heater is tipped over, an external switch located on the
bottom of the heater will automatically shut the heater off. Once the heater is restored to an upright position, the
heater will reset.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR POWER
This heater is for use on 120 volts only. The cord has a plug as shown at (A) in the following figure. An adapter as shown
at (C) is available for connecting three-blade grounding-type plugs to two-slot receptacles. The green grounding plug
extending from the adapter must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box. The
adapter should not be used if a three-slot grounded receptacle is available.
