Checking the Barometric Pressure
Barometric Pressure History
In normal mode, press [BARO./-] to check the barometric pressure over 12, 24, 48 and 72 hours. Press
[LIGHT/SNOOZE] to exit.
Relative vs. Absolute Pressure
Hold [BARO./-] pressed for 2 seconds to switch between the relative (REL) and the absolute (ABS)
pressure.
To compare pressure conditions of different locations, meteorologists correct the pressure to sea-level
conditions, i.e. relative pressure. Because the air pressure decreases as you rise in altitude, the sea-level
corrected pressure is generally higher than the measured pressure.
Standard sea-level pressure is 28.62 inHg or 759.81 mmHg or 1013 hPa. Consult the Internet or locate
an official meteorological station near you for more information on the local barometric values.

Checking the Dew Point
In normal mode, press [TEMP./+] to check the dew point. Press [LIGHT/SNOOZE] to exit.

Alarm Mode
In normal mode, press [ALARM] to enter the alarm mode. To set the alarm, hold [ALARM] pressed for
2 seconds. Modify the blinking digit with [TEMP./+] or [BARO./-], confirm with [SET] to go to the next
level.
The setting sequence is as follows:
hour minute alarm on/off ice alarm on/off exit.
The ice alarm will be activated when the outdoor temperature drops below 2 °C/35.6 °F. an LO icon will
also appear on the display.
When the alarm has been activated, press [LIGHT/SNOOZE] to enter the snooze mode or any button to
deactivate.

Calibrating the Receiver Console
Hold [BARO./-] and [SET] pressed for 2 seconds to enter the calibration mode. Modify the blinking digit
with [TEMP./+] or [BARO./-], confirm with [SET] to go to the next level, cancel the values with [ALARM].
The setting sequence is as follows:
outdoor temperature outdoor humidity indoor temperature indoor humidity absolute pressure
exit.
Calibration Example
A calibrated red spirit thermometer displays a temperature of 30.0 °C while the receiver console displays
a temperature of 29.6 °C. The offset is the calibrated temperature minus the uncalibrated temperature.
In our example, this means 30.0 °C – 29.6 °C = 0.4 °C. Enter the temperature offset of + 0.4 °C.
5.8
Max/Min Mode
The max./min. value is displayed on the bottom of each segment. Clear all values by holding [TEMP]
pressed for 2 seconds. Also, all values will be automatically cleared daily.
