CD PLAYER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Disc Slot
With the label surface facing up, gently insert
the disc into the slot until the soft-loading
mechanism engages and disc play begins. "S -
CDP" will appear on the display panel. Once
loaded, the track number and elapsed time will
appear.
NOTE: The unit is designed for play of
standard 5" (12 cm.) compact discs only. Do
not attempt to use 3" (8 cm.) CD singles in
this unit, either with or without an adaptor,
as damage to the player and/or the disc may
occur. Such damage will not be covered by
the warranty on this product.

Mode Selector (SRC)
Press the SRC button (13) to change between
CD player, radio, and Aux In operation. The
current mode is indicated on the display panel.
During CD player operation, this button may be
used to change to radio without ejecting the
disc.

Track Selector
The Track Select functions are used to quickly
access the beginning of a particular track. Each
time the tune/track (
) button (6a) is pressed,
the next higher track number is selected, as
shown on the display panel. Each time the tune/
track (
) button (6b) is pressed, the next lower
track number is selected, as shown on the
display panel.

Cue/Review Functions
Press and hold the tune/track (
to advance rapidly forward or the tune/track
(
) button (6b) to advance rapidly backward.
During either function, the elapsed time of each
track will be shown on the display panel.

Electronic skip protection (ESP) can be
activated to assist with playback when rough,
uneven road conditions are encountered. To
select ESP time:
1. Press and hold the SEL button (4) for more
than 2 seconds to access the menu.

2. Continue pressing the SEL button to select
"ESP" mode.
3. Press the volume +/– buttons (3) to select
one of the following modes: "ESP 12" or
"ESP 45".
