water and a mild detergent, or in a dish-
washer.
∙ The crumb tray may be taken out for
cleaning. Any large accumulation of fat
in the tray should fi rst be cleaned up with
a paper towel. Make sure that the tray
is refi tted in its proper position under the
heating elements.
∙ Allow the pizza stone to cool down
completely before cleaning. Any
remaining food can be scraped off with
a wooden spatula. Because the surface
is porous, discoloration as a result of
contact with food is normal.
If the stone has been rinsed in water
during the cleaning process, ensure that
it has dried of completely before it is
used again. Only a completely dry stone
ensures best baking results.
∙ The inner glass plate of the door may
also be removed for cleaning. Loosen
the two screws and pull the glass plate
out, cleaning and drying it thoroughly
afterwards. To replace, fi t it between the
guide slots in the glass door, ensuring
that it is properly located above the centre
guide slots and below the two outer slots.
Retighten the screws.
Changing the interior lamp bulb
A defective bulb may be replaced.
Remove the screws and take off the lamp
cover. Replace the defective bulb with a
commercially available type E14 (15-25 W),
and refi t the cover.
