If, after connecting the
charger, the green "Power"
LED does not light up, check
the power cable and the
mains connection.
If, after connecting the charger,
the yellow "Charging" LED
does not light up, the pole
terminals may have been
11
reversed.
Disconnect the charger from
the mains and reconnect the
terminals with the battery
poles. Only then reconnect the
charger to the mains socket.
If the green "Charged" LED
does not light up after the
charging time, disconnect the
charger from the mains and the
battery. First check the over-
load fuse and replace it with
a fuse of the same amperage
rating (15 A), if necessary. If the
fuse is not blown, check the
battery using a battery tester.
• A lead acid battery that has
not been charged for a long
time may be sulphated, so it
is diffi cult (if not impossible) to
recharge.
• A cell is short-circuited.
• The battery voltage reaches the
fi nal charge status only under
diffi culty (may be the case with
old batteries).
Protect the charger from hu-
midity (rain, splash water).
NEVER try to charge non-
rechargeable batteries.
Only use the charger in an
upright position!
For standard batteries, please
check the electrolyte level before
charging.
If necessary, refi ll with distilled
water until the lead plates are
covered.
Be careful not to overfi ll or else
corrosive acid may exit while
charging.
NOTE!
Potentially explosive gases!
Avoid sparks and open fl ames.
Only use in well ventilated
rooms.
