Switch delay
The detector will only activate the lighting after a time delay to prevent
a sudden change in brightness from causing undesired switching on/
off of the lighting.
Time delay from "light to dark": 30 seconds =
GB
red LED lights up for channel 1.
Time delay from "dark to light": 5 minutes =
red LED flashes slowly for channel 1.
The "blind" function interrupts the time delay from "light to dark" if the
light value falls below 50 lux and then switches the lighting on at once.
Button S1 – S2/remote control C1 – C2 + light oN/oFF
The presence detector is equipped with a connection for an external
button for each switching channel. This can be used to manually switch
each switching channel on or off, or to temporarily change the light
channel's DIM values.
Manual switch-on
Briefly press S1 – S2/remote control C1 – C2 + light oN/oFF: the lighting will
then remain switched on for as long as the detector continues to detect
movement. The predefined time setting will start once movement is no
longer detected. Once this time has elapsed, the lighting will switch off
and and the detector will revert to the set operating mode.
Manual switch-off
Briefly press S1 – S2/remote control C1 – C2 + light oN/oFF: the lighting will
then remain switched off for as long as the detector continues to detect
movement. The predefined time setting will start once movement is no
longer detected. Once this time has elapsed, the detector will revert to
the set operating mode.

Changing the DIM value
Press S1 until the required light value is reached. The light value remains
set for as long as the detector continues to detect movement. The
predefined time setting will start once movement is no longer detected.
Once this time has elapsed, the lighting will switch off and the detector
will revert to the set operating mode with the original light value.
6 • SETTINGS
DIP switch (fig. 5)
DIP switch 1: "RC"/"manual"
The switch is set to "RC" in the factory settings. This means that the
device can be operated by remote control. Settings can only be
made using the relevant remote control.
: "short pulse" function for channel C2 (HVAC)
Once the detector has been triggered by movement, the channel
and the green LED will be switched on for 5 seconds and then off
for 5 seconds.
Field of detection "test" function
The connected lighting is switched on – immediate, load-free indication
of movement given by 2 short flashes of the blue LED (blue mode).
DIP switch 2: fully automatic (A)/semi-automatic (M)
DIP switch 2 is only active if DIP switch 1 has been switched to manual!
Whichever option you choose affects both C1 and C2. For a detailed
description of fully automatic/semi-automatic mode, please refer to
chapter 7 "Functions".
