All the whirlpool bath components require frequent maintenance. Please follow the
instructions below to avoid damage to the gloss of the acrylic and metal parts:
• Clean the bathtub with a soft cloth and neutral liquid detergents that are not abrasive.
Never use cloths with synthetic fibres, scouring pads, metal pads, abrasive detergents
(liquid or solid), alcohol, and acids for domestic use, acetone or any other solvents,
which may damage the surfaces.
• Do not use bath foam, oil or other detergents, which are not specifically indicated for the
whirlpool systems (not completely soluble and thus potentially abrasive).
• Use diluted lukewarm vinegar to remove any calcium deposits.
• Install a water softening system to eliminate calcium deposits.
• Do not expose the bathtub to excessive ultraviolet rays, such as a solarium near the
bathtub, or direct sunlight to avoid colour changes of the bathtub.
• Minor damage can be eliminated with a reparation kit (available in the colours of the
sanitary units. Small scratches can be removed by passing sandpaper gently (no. 1200)
and then applying car polish.
• Periodically it is advisable to clean the whirlpool water circuit activating the cleaning
cycle (if provided) according to the instructions for each single system.
