5. Checking for Leaks
a. Make 2-3 oz. of leak solution by mixing one part liquid dishwashing soap with three parts water.
b. Make sure control knobs are in the OFF position.
c. Spray some solution on all fittings, pipe connections and regulator assembly.
d. Inspect the solution at the connections for bubbles. If no bubbles appear, the connection is secure.
e. If bubbles appear, you have a leak. Go to step f.
f. Disconnect the connections where bubbles appear and then reconnect.
g. Retest with solution.
h. If "growing" bubbles appear, do not use any more. Contact a gas gas supplier or your fire department!
